Automotive Service Technician

Location: Kennesaw, Georgia, United States; in-person automotive service and repair role.

What you will do

• Perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire inspections, lubrication, and multi-point vehicle inspections.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns using electronic diagnostic equipment and complete repair orders according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Repair and maintain engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, steering, brake, and HVAC systems.
• Test-drive vehicles, verify completed repairs, and perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate repair recommendations and estimates to Service Advisors and help customers understand vehicle needs and timelines.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas while meeting accuracy and productivity goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude, diagnostic ability, troubleshooting skills, and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and learn new technologies and repair procedures.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Previous automotive dealership experience varies by technician level; ASE certification is preferred for advanced roles.
