Automotive Technician

Location: 028592 Refugee Rd, United States; onsite automotive service role

Pay range: $17.50–$26.30 per hour, with performance-based flat-rate compensation.

Automotive retail operations with company-owned service locations across North America, focused on tire and vehicle maintenance services.

What you will do

• Change oil and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check vehicle electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance, install parts, and repair tires.
• Road-test customer and company vehicles.
• Explain repair procedures to customers and answer service questions.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and work carefully in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance, inspections, oil changes, and tire repair.
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Obtain or maintain at least one A.S.E. certification, A1–A8, within the first two years of employment.
• Employment eligibility verification is required; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify candidates.

Nice to have

• Two years of automotive repair experience.
• Completion of a related vocational-technical program.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent external qualifications and training certifications.
