Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site

Compensation: $1,000–$10,000 one-time cash award over the course of six months, provided if a jointly authored paper is accepted for publication

What you will do

• Define and execute a focused research project with an hirify.global research mentor.
• Formulate research questions, design rigorous experiments, and analyze results.
• Develop datasets, methods, evaluations, or benchmark assets required for the project.
• Document methods and results clearly and support reproducible research with research and engineering teams.
• Co-author a paper and work toward publication.

Requirements

• Full-time undergraduate, master’s, or PhD student, or a return intern.
• Ability to participate throughout the academic semester.
• Established research publication record at leading conferences or peer-reviewed journals.
• Experience developing, publishing, or contributing to public benchmarks.
• Interest in at least one focus area: data quality and data mix, post-training research, agent and foundation-model evaluation, or public benchmarks in coding, medicine, finance, law, or STEM.
