Temp - Assistant Designer, Footwear

Salary: $26.00–$31.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support the creative process and development of footwear designs from concept through production under the direction of the Senior Designer.
• Build and maintain seasonal design boards, sketches, CADs, and style information.
• Assist with tech packs and track development details for each footwear style.
• Prepare samples and prototypes for design reviews and document updates from meetings.
• Compile trend research and maintain vintage and inspiration archives.

Requirements

• Associate of Arts or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or an equivalent field.
• Internship experience with a luxury retailer.
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong hand-sketching and Illustrator sketching skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with resourcefulness and creative problem-solving ability.
• Digital portfolio of work required; ability to manage multiple product seasons in a fast-paced environment.
