Public Finance Analyst (Finance)

Location: Onsite at the Northland Securities Office in West Des Moines, Iowa, United States

Salary: $63,288–$104,425 base pay annually

What you will do

• Serve as lead analyst for public finance deal analytics, disclosure materials, offering documents, and closing documents.
• Research market data, issuers, outstanding debt, and public finance trends to support business and opportunity analysis.
• Run refunding scenarios and financing structure alternatives for prospects and clients.
• Prepare financing proposals, presentations, pitch books, one-pagers, and internal deal-processing materials.
• Coordinate documentation and closings while maintaining relationships with issuers, counsel, rating agencies, and credit enhancers.
• Support business development, reporting, compliance activities, and ongoing regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Public finance experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance is preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in accounting, finance, or investments.
• Understanding of credit and finance concepts, strong attention to detail, communication and presentation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Achieve or maintain Series 50, 52, 63, and SIE licenses or examinations.
• Unrestricted United States work authorization is required; future sponsorship is not available.
