Senior C++ Software Engineer (Python/Data focus)

Location: Poland, Romania, or Ukraine; remote or office work.

What you will do

• Design and implement AWS data pipeline components in modern C++ and Python.
• Lead the migration of large datasets from HDF5 files to Iceberg tables.
• Analyze, refactor, and extend C++ logic for data generation while preserving data integrity and schema consistency.
• Integrate Python utilities for data transformation, validation, and loading.
• Optimize data processing for throughput, reliability, and scalability.
• Debug and resolve issues during the migration to ensure stable pipeline behavior.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency with modern C++ and practical experience in data processing pipelines.
• Hands-on Python development experience with data processing scripts and utilities.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines in AWS.
• Experience with performance optimization, debugging, large datasets, and complex data environments.
• Upper-Intermediate English level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with HDF5, Iceberg, data serialization, and migration between data formats.
• Experience with big data frameworks or ecosystems.
