Operational Tax Senior Manager (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the UK, Cardiff or London, with occasional work from the London office

Salary: £94,700–£111,400 per year plus performance-based incentive awards

What you will do

• Act as the subject matter expert for operational tax and advise the business as hirify.global expands into new markets.
• Own operational tax processes and controls across jurisdictions, including BBSI, ISA reporting, FATCA, CRS, Corporate Criminal Offence, CT61s, and overseas equivalents.
• Partner with Product and local market teams to embed tax requirements, reporting, and controls into new product designs.
• Monitor tax laws, regulations, and case law across the UK and EU and translate changes into business actions.
• Collaborate with Financial Crime, Engineering, Legal, EU Next Markets, Finance, and Product teams on operational tax matters.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant, qualified tax advisor, or qualified through significant relevant experience.
• Significant in-house experience in operational tax.
• Ability to work relatively autonomously and take ownership of complex processes.
• Detail-oriented, methodical, proactive, and hands-on working style.
• Ability to work remotely from within the UK and attend the London office occasionally.
