Weapon System Analyst (Missile Defense)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; travel up to 15%; US citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

What you will do

• Develop a detailed understanding of weapon-system requirements and operations.
• Define performance metrics and analyze data from live firings, ground tests, simulations, and real-world events.
• Support Warfighter requests for information by analyzing operational data and developing performance recommendations.
• Define test objectives, execute and assess test events, and produce technical reports.
• Prepare and deliver briefings for government representatives, Warfighters, and senior leadership.
• Review software changes and system requirements, and contribute to technical proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Missile Defense System Analysis, program execution, or related defense operations.
• US citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Fire Control analysis experience for a major Missile Defense System.
• Experience analyzing flight tests, ground tests, simulations, and real-world data.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, C, C++, Python, or another high-level programming language.
