Critical Environments Operator I (Data Center Operations)

Location: Whitney, Texas, United States; onsite work in a 24/7/365 data center environment.

What you will do

• Operate and maintain assigned data center and non-data-center spaces under the direction of the Senior Facility Manager.
• Follow building operating rules, company procedures, government regulations, client policies, and EHS requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to support safe maintenance and project work.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify malfunctions and deviations, and support equipment evaluations and scope-of-work recommendations.
• Perform inventory management, janitorial services, internal departmental tasks, preventive maintenance, and other assigned duties.
• Work with safety, security, clients, managers, and technicians to maintain high standards of workmanship.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in operations and maintenance or customer service.
• Ability to use personal computers.
• Ability to diagnose problems using equipment and established methodologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively, work independently when required, and collaborate as part of an operations and maintenance team.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and remain available for after-hours work needs.
