What you will do
- Advocate for a quality-first mindset and scalable testing across the development team.
- Design, implement, and execute test plans and cases for game features, tools, and backend systems.
- Define and use quality metrics to inform risk management and release readiness.
- Identify improvements for pipelines, workflows, and test coverage.
- Collaborate with engineers to investigate issues and triage defects.
- Coordinate testing with offsite or vendor QA teams and provide structured feedback.
Requirements
- Location: Role based in Sydney, Australia
- 3+ years experience in software or game QA roles.
- Experience in test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Strong collaboration skills across engineering, design, and production.
- Ability to discuss technical details with engineers.
- Experience coordinating distributed testing resources.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with QA tools like Jira and TestRail.
- Experience testing complex services or engine systems, ideally in games.
- Understanding of version control workflows (Git, Perforce).
- Certifications in software testing (ISTQB, BBST, Agile Testing).
- Experience with Unreal Engine or telemetry/performance test tools.
- Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent.
