What you will do

• Create test data and set up appropriate conditions to execute test cases.
• Design test plans, execute test cases, and write clear, descriptive test reports.
• Enhance and maintain automated test suites to streamline the testing process.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to track and resolve defects.
• Identify system or application problems to maintain overall software performance.

Requirements

• Ability to write automated test suites in PHP or Java.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Strong SQL skills for validating functionality and diagnosing issues.
• Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, investigation, and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working at a Linux command line to check logs and deployments.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• General software development experience beyond individual automated test cases.
