Intern - UX/UI Designer

What you will do

• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma for active product and design system initiatives.
• Apply and maintain components, variables, and styles in Figma design files.
• Participate in design critiques, reviews, and feedback sessions.
• Collaborate with UX Designers and UX and Accessibility Leads to produce implementation-ready designs.
• Apply foundational UX practices, including visual hierarchy, typography, responsive design, and accessibility considerations.
• Present design work and iterate based on feedback.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Digital Media, Information Science, or a related field.
• Working proficiency in Figma, including components and auto layout.
• Foundational knowledge of typography, color, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to give and receive feedback.
• Curiosity about accessible and inclusive design.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple small design tasks concurrently.

Nice to have

• Portfolio or coursework demonstrating Figma proficiency.
• Experience with Figma variables.
