Principal Biostatistician (Biotechnology)

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Hybrid-eligible with remote work permitted up to two days per week, or on-site five days per week with ad hoc flexibility.

Salary: $152,000–$228,000 base salary per year, plus potential annual bonus and equity awards.

What you will do

• Conduct advanced statistical analyses for clinical trials, observational studies, and real-world data investigations.
• Design and execute statistical infrastructure, including study methods, sample size estimates, and randomization plans.
• Author Statistical Analysis Plans, TFL shells, cross-functional data review plans, key reports memoranda, and data dissemination plans.
• Represent Biostatistics on clinical trial teams and provide technical guidance to clinical and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with statistical programming to deliver high-quality tables, figures, and listings.
• Contribute to clinical study reports, regulatory and payer interactions, publications, posters, and methodological reviews.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or master's degree in Statistics or Biostatistics.
• Typically 3 years of experience with a Ph.D. or 6 years with a master's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth experience with SAS and R statistical software.
• Advanced understanding of statistical methods used in drug development.
• Critical thinking, logical problem-solving, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in the Boston area under a hybrid or on-site arrangement.
