Principal Biostatistician (Statistical Innovation)

Location: Tarrytown, NY or Warren, NJ; 4 days per week on site

Salary: $109,900–$179,300 annually

What you will do

• Work with clinical, regulatory, scientific, programming, data management, and medical writing teams to design and analyze clinical trials.
• Develop clinical study protocols and statistical analysis plans, selecting appropriate methodologies for data analysis.
• Design clinical experiments and interventional studies and assess endpoint feasibility.
• Analyze and interpret clinical trial and non-trial data to support program-level decisions.
• Collaborate on tables, figures, listings, interim analyses, final reports, and regulatory submissions.
• Research innovative statistical methods, develop training for non-statisticians, and contribute to industry and regulatory discussions through professional activities and publications.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent in statistics, biostatistics, or a related discipline with internship experience, or an MS degree with more than 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience as a statistician.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies, experimental design, and clinical trial design.
• Expertise in statistical software such as R or SAS.
• Demonstrated leadership, influence, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
• Ability to work onsite 4 days per week in Tarrytown, NY or Warren, NJ.
