HEOR Ops & Analytics Associate Director (Biotech)

Location: United States - Field Based; flexibility to work remotely, hybrid, or on-site.

Salary: $172,000–$258,000 annual base salary, plus potential annual bonus and equity awards.

What you will do

• Conduct feasibility assessments and health economics and outcomes research using in-licensed real-world evidence data assets.
• Analyze disease burden, prevalence, progression, comorbidities, healthcare resource utilization, costs, treatment patterns, and outcomes.
• Lead the development of study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and table shells.
• Support statistical programmers with data queries and analyses across therapeutic and disease areas.
• Prepare analytic reports, tables, and visualizations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Improve analytic tools, reusable programming libraries, macros, templates, and the overall analytics operating model.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in health economics or a related quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, economics, or epidemiology.
• Typically 8 years of relevant health economics and outcomes research experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of observational research methods and claims-based epidemiologic analysis.
• Hands-on experience with large patient-level healthcare datasets, including claims, EHR/EMR, and hospital chargemaster data.
• Working knowledge of diagnostic, procedure, and drug coding systems and healthcare system structures.
• Advanced proficiency in SAS programming and Excel, with strong written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with data sources such as MarketScan, PharMetrics Plus, eLAAD+, or Premier.
• Experience contributing to global product value strategy, post-hoc clinical trial analyses, or evidence generation studies.
