Automotive Technician (Automotive)

Location: 792764 Sheridan Park; onsite automotive service role

Pay range: $15.75–$23.67, with performance-based flat-rate compensation. Actual earnings vary by available work, productivity, experience, and region.

What you will do

• Change oil and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and install automotive parts.
• Road-test customer vehicles and assist with vehicle assessments and repairs.
• Explain repair procedures to customers and answer service-related questions.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and perform general automotive maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of oil changes, vehicle inspections, and tire repair.
• Valid automobile driver’s license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and basic math skills.
• Employment requires completion of Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify applicants.

Nice to have

• Two years of automotive repair experience.
• Completion of a related vocational-technical program.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent training and qualifications.
