Automotive Technician (Automotive)

Location: Alhambra, United States; onsite automotive service role

Pay range: $20.13–$30.25, with performance-based flat-rate compensation

hirify.global Retail Operations operates company-owned automotive service stores across North America, including Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus, and Wheel Works locations.

What you will do

• Change oil and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries, check electrical systems, and install vehicle parts.
• Perform tire maintenance and basic tire repairs.
• Road-test customer and company vehicles.
• Explain repair procedures to customers and provide automotive service support.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and work carefully in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid automobile driver’s license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic knowledge of oil changes, vehicle inspections, general automotive maintenance, and tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Obtain or maintain at least one A.S.E. certification from A1–A8 within the first two years of employment.
• Employment requires completion of Form I-9 verification; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify candidates.

Nice to have

• Two years of automotive repair experience.
• Completion of a related vocational-technical program.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent external qualifications and training certifications.
