Tax Manager (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Translate GAAP financial data into applicable income tax data.
• Forecast estimated income tax and tax accounting implications.
• Research and communicate tax implications of operational and strategic business decisions.
• Manage state and local tax matters, including sales, use, and property taxes.
• Maintain investor pool details and deliver quarterly and annual K-1 and distribution communications.
• Optimize tax controls and coordinate with external tax consultants and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 4 years of tax experience.
• Active CPA license required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual tax methods.
• Experience with equity capitalization tables and large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
• Must be based in Nashville, TN; attendance is an essential job function.
