Analytics Engineer II (Snowflake/dbt)

What you will do

• Improve and maintain the data stack across Snowflake, AWS, Fivetran, dbt+, and Omni.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, establish, and measure KPIs and metrics.
• Develop and deploy consumption and semantic models for analytics, data science, and BI use cases.
• Optimize data-stack quality, performance, reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain documentation, governance, security, and data engineering best practices.
• Communicate complex technical topics and analytical results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of experience developing data models and applying engineering best practices across various tools.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Jinja.
• Experience communicating analytical results to technical and non-technical leadership to influence strategy.
• Ability to work autonomously, interpret ambiguity with minimal direction, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs. of files, supplies, documents, or related items.
