Engineering Project Manager (Rotating Equipment)

Location: Italy, Milan; hybrid remote/office

Salary: €50,000–€68,000 gross per year, based on the Italian labour market.

What you will do

• Manage planned and unplanned maintenance activities for gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators.
• Prepare and lead planned outages, controlling project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and quality.
• Monitor project financial performance and coordinate change management with the Commercial Project Manager.
• Lead customer meetings, coordinate engineering, field service, EHS, finance, and commercial stakeholders, and resolve operational challenges.
• Develop proposals for equipment upgrades, modernization, decarbonization initiatives, and maintenance contract modifications.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in engineering and/or project management.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and stakeholders in a customer-facing environment; PMP certification is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
• Knowledge of project financial management, risk and opportunity management, planning, scheduling, quality assurance, and compliance processes.
• Proficiency with SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators.
• German language skills.
