Senior Technical Content Strategist

Location: Hybrid from the San Francisco office, United States

Salary: $150,000–$165,000 annually, plus commission or variable compensation, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop technical and industry commentary representing hirify.global’s perspective on software delivery, AI governance, security, developer productivity, and engineering ROI.
• Monitor technology news, developer discussions, research, industry announcements, and investment perspectives to identify relevant topics.
• Create angles, post ideas, and concise content for LinkedIn, X, and other external platforms.
• Translate complex hirify.global products and technical concepts into clear content for developers, engineering leaders, security leaders, and the broader technology community.
• Own the content calendar and iterate on content quality based on feedback.
• Partner with executive leadership, engineering, product management, communications, and marketing.

Requirements

• Technical foundation through an engineering degree, computer science background, or substantial experience working closely with engineering teams.
• Strong writing ability with a concise, specific, and direct style.
• Ability to understand products deeply, including how they work, why they are designed that way, and which problems they solve.
• Knowledge of software development and enterprise technology, with the ability to form and defend informed opinions.
• Ability to move quickly, incorporate feedback, and exercise sound editorial judgment.
• Availability for hybrid work from the San Francisco office.

Nice to have

• Engineering background combined with an MBA.
• Experience in venture capital, technology strategy, research, analytics, or investment.
