Senior Development Lead (Java/Spring Boot)

What you will do

• Lead the technical design and development of complex enterprise applications and digital platforms.
• Translate architecture and business requirements into low-level designs covering components, service boundaries, data models, API contracts, integrations, and error handling.
• Design and develop Java and Spring Boot microservices, RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven services.
• Provide technical leadership for React applications and integration with secure backend APIs.
• Remain hands-on with critical coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, performance analysis, and root-cause investigations.
• Lead and mentor backend and frontend developers while coordinating with architecture, QA, DevOps, security, integration, and business teams.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of software development experience and 3+ years in a Technical Lead or Development Lead role.
• Strong experience with Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Security, RESTful APIs, microservices, JPA/Hibernate, SQL databases, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Expertise in low-level design, API architecture, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, authentication and authorization, API gateways, and secure coding.
• Experience with React JS, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, state management, API integration, and frontend security and performance.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Maven or Gradle, SonarQube, application monitoring, and logging.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, code review, and technical leadership skills.
