Pre-Construction Manager (Cladding Remediation)

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate PCSA pre-construction activities for complex cladding remediation projects.
• Develop programmes covering surveys, design, approvals, procurement, and statutory milestones.
• Define technical scopes, remedial strategies, costed options, risk controls, and design deliverables.
• Coordinate RIBA Stages 2–4 design, consultant performance, mock-ups, testing, and technical approvals.
• Manage surveys, intrusive investigations, access strategies, early works, procurement interfaces, and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead pre-start readiness reviews and ensure a controlled handover to the delivery team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pre-Construction Manager or in a similar construction or cladding remediation role.
• Strong understanding of PCSA delivery, design management, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with programme, risk, stakeholder, commercial, and multidisciplinary team management.
• Knowledge of PAS 9980, relevant British Standards, Building Regulations, CDM, the Building Safety Act, and HRB Gateway processes.
• Experience with façade, fire remediation, or high-rise residential schemes is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial awareness and collaborative working skills.
