What you will do
- Capture, validate, and report physical progress for NSSS mechanical and piping installation works at Hinkley Point C.
- Maintain alignment between site execution and the Level 4 programme in coordination with Construction, Planning, Project Controls, and QA/QC teams.
- Monitor critical-path performance, quantify schedule impacts, and identify emerging risks and recovery actions.
- Record delays, disruptions, changes, productivity metrics, installed quantities, welding and NDT status, and fabrication-versus-installation progress.
- Produce progress reports covering planned versus actual completion, critical-path status, delay analysis, and look-ahead risks.
- Support system and subsystem handover and commissioning readiness through auditable completion tracking.
Requirements
- Experience in project controls, planning, or progress reporting on large-scale construction, infrastructure, or regulated projects.
- Experience with piping or mechanical installation, including welding, NDT, inspection workflows, and construction sequencing.
- Experience gathering and validating progress data with construction and engineering teams and communicating schedule risks and delays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data handling and reporting; experience with Primavera P6 is required for the role.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of data integrity, traceability, audit readiness, nuclear safety, quality compliance, and cost performance.
- Onsite work in Bridgwater, Somerset, United Kingdom is required.
Nice to have
- Experience on major EPC projects, Tier 1 contractor environments, nuclear, oil and gas, or other highly regulated projects.
- Experience with delay capture, disruption records, commercial claims, schedule analysis, EVM, or system handover and commissioning milestones.
- Degree, HNC, or HND in engineering, construction management, project management, or project controls.
- APM, Primavera P6, project controls, nuclear quality, or related certifications and training.
