Engineering Manager (Mobile)

Location: Malta; hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days working from home.

What you will do

• Build and lead high-performing engineering teams through recruitment, onboarding, coaching, mentoring, career development, and team organization.
• Establish a culture of ownership, collaboration, and passion for delivering high-quality products.
• Partner with product and architecture leaders to support product and technical goals.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders across the organization to improve knowledge sharing and cooperation.
• Own delivery quality and timelines while advancing modern agile software development practices.
• Drive technical excellence, application performance, and stability across mobile engineering teams.

Requirements

• Experience building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
• Extensive experience developing mobile applications for iOS and/or Android.
• Strong knowledge of modern agile software development practices and their implementation at scale.
• Understanding of application performance and reliability practices.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to drive execution and delivery.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
