TL;DR
Data Protection Professional (Privacy Compliance): Providing expert oversight and guidance for complex and high-risk data processing activities with an accent on regulatory assessments, privacy risk mitigation, and stakeholder advisory. Focus on conducting DPIAs, LIAs, vendor risk assessments, transfer impact assessments, and strengthening privacy frameworks and organizational data protection maturity.

What you will do
- Provide oversight and quality assurance for complex privacy and data protection assessments across multiple business areas.
- Identify privacy risks and recommend proportionate mitigation measures.
- Advise stakeholders on high-risk, complex, or ambiguous data processing activities.
- Develop and enhance privacy frameworks, templates, and guidance materials.
- Review assessment outcomes, mentor colleagues, and support capability development.
- Drive initiatives that strengthen ING's privacy and data protection maturity.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in data protection and privacy compliance.
- Deep knowledge of privacy principles and data protection regulatory frameworks.
- Experience conducting and reviewing DPIAs, LIAs, third-party and vendor risk assessments, TIAs, and RoPAs.
- Experience assessing data breaches and supporting Data Subject Rights processes.
- Ability to translate complex regulations into practical business outcomes.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, and technical leadership skills.
Nice to have
- Background in technology, information security, risk management, or legal disciplines.
- Certifications such as CIPM, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or CIPT.
- Experience using privacy management tools.
