Junior Data Scientist (AI)

hirify.global is a global assurance and risk management partner providing certification, cybersecurity, inspection, training, and supply-chain intelligence services. The role supports EiQ, an AI-enabled data product for ESG and supply-chain insight.

What you will do

• Analyze structured and unstructured data to generate insights on ESG and supply-chain risks.
• Design, build, deploy, and monitor scalable data pipelines and machine learning solutions.
• Prepare and integrate internal and external data into reliable curated models and golden datasets.
• Develop cloud-based data and AI solutions, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
• Contribute to data, analytics, and AI product development and continuous improvement.
• Translate business and ESG challenges into analytical approaches, practical solutions, and measurable outcomes while communicating findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, statistics, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• At least one year of relevant professional experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, including maintainable, testable, and reusable code.
• Experience building data pipelines across ingestion, transformation, and curated data models.
• Knowledge of machine learning, statistics, model evaluation, sampling, experimentation, uncertainty, and causality.
• Professional written and spoken English is required. Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and practical knowledge of generative AI and large language model patterns are required.

Nice to have

• Mandarin language capability.
• Experience with data lakes, lakehouses, orchestration, distributed processing, APIs, containers, CI/CD, MLOps, or LLMOps.
• Experience with document processing, NLP, multimodal solutions, data governance, observability, or automated data-quality testing.
• Knowledge of supply chains, sustainability, ESG, social compliance, risk management, or assurance services.
• Experience working with clients or cross-functional business stakeholders.
