What you will do
- Create and develop alpha signals and other utilization algorithms on the BRAIN platform.
- Research academic quantitative finance literature and identify new research domains.
- Analyze researcher-facing platform functionality, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
- Design and test new platform functionality and datasets.
- Support user and consultant acquisition initiatives with strategy and business development partners.
- Conduct training sessions and maintain the BRAIN training curriculum.
Requirements
- Familiarity with BRAIN; experience as a VRC Research Consultant or BRAIN Research Consultant is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering, science, mathematics, finance, or another highly analytical and quantitative field.
- Programming experience with Java, C++, C, Python, MySQL, SQL, or server technologies; UNIX knowledge is preferred.
- Research-oriented mindset, creativity, perseverance, and motivation to solve unsolved problems.
- Strong interest in worldwide financial markets.
- Good communication and presentation skills in English are required.
