Supplier & Cost Management Specialist - Technology

What you will do

• Govern technology expenditure across software, cloud, infrastructure, telecom, managed services, and professional services.
• Develop spend forecasts, financial models, dashboards, and executive reporting for budgeting and investment decisions.
• Build business cases and commercial evaluations using TCO, ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback analysis.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contract renewals, supplier governance, and performance reviews.
• Identify and deliver cost optimization initiatives while tracking sustainable savings across the technology portfolio.
• Collaborate with Technology, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Business stakeholders on strategic sourcing and investment decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Technology Finance, IT Commercial Management, Vendor Management, Strategic Sourcing, Technology Cost Management, or a related field.
• Experience managing significant technology spend portfolios and delivering measurable cost optimization outcomes.
• Background in large enterprise environments, including technology procurement, software licensing, cloud and infrastructure cost management, supplier negotiations, and executive reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling, forecasting, scenario analysis, Power Query, and Pivot Tables.
• Strong commercial, analytical, stakeholder management, influencing, executive communication, and results-oriented skills.

Nice to have

• Power BI experience.
• MBA, CIPS, CFA, CPA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
