Senior Data Science Engineering Manager (Marketing)

Location: hirify.global is headquartered in Boston, United States. As a regulated gaming company, the role may require obtaining a gaming license from the appropriate state agency.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers.
• Set the team strategy, roadmap, priorities, and success measures for personalization initiatives.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Revenue, and Data Science leaders to connect technical decisions with customer and business outcomes.
• Guide the design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iteration of machine learning systems.
• Influence data pipelines, feature generation, experimentation, batch and real-time serving, observability, and model lifecycle management.
• Own capacity planning and resource allocation while advancing automation, containerization, testing, and reliable production deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of data science or machine learning engineering experience, including at least 5 years of formal people leadership or management.
• Experience leading data science or machine learning teams through complex initiatives from technical direction to production deployment and optimization.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, plus experience with modern data platforms and cloud environments.
• Deep knowledge of machine learning systems, statistical modeling, experimentation frameworks, software development lifecycle, DevOps, and MLOps.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for influencing senior stakeholders and managing technical tradeoffs.
