What you will do
- Develop production schedules based on sales forecasts, plant capacity, employee capacity, and finished-goods requirements.
- Coordinate forecasting and production planning with Sales, Operations, customer service, purchasing, shipping, and other stakeholders.
- Create and monitor daily and monthly manufacturing schedules to support on-time product delivery.
- Create and track orders against on-time delivery targets.
- Monitor schedule changes caused by equipment failures or resource delays and adjust plans as needed.
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, engineering, quality, and customer service teams to achieve capacity, cost, and service goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- Understanding of complex equipment production and system integration.
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods, process improvement, and Lean Six Sigma manufacturing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and efficiencies.
- Occasional international travel is required.
