• Manage day-to-day audit engagement activities for university clients from planning through completion.
• Manage engagement budgets, perform fieldwork, direct staff, and complete financial statements and disclosures.
• Review client accounting and operating procedures.
• Develop and assess the design and implementation of internal controls.
• Prepare financial statement disclosures and reportable condition correspondence.
• Communicate technical matters proactively with staff, management, and clients.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Two or more years of public accounting experience focused on financial statement preparation, audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Ability to travel to client sites, including infrequent overnight travel.
• Current CPA certification or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.
• Experience with an established public accounting or professional services firm is preferred.
