Manager - Exploratory Analysis (Biomarkers)

Location: Hybrid role based in North Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: $109,500–$208,500 per year

What you will do

• Design, analyze, and report biomarker and assay studies supporting discovery research, translational science, and clinical trials.
• Develop biomarker sections of clinical trial protocols and biomarker analysis plans.
• Identify biomarkers and signatures for target identification, mechanism of action, disease progression, treatment response, patient selection, and stratification.
• Perform statistical analyses, evaluate software suitability, and propose scientifically sound solutions to study design and analytical issues.
• Ensure data integrity and the scientific quality of statistical presentations, inferences, publications, and study conclusions.
• Collaborate with researchers, translational scientists, clinicians, and non-statistical partners to communicate analytical results.

Requirements

• MS in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field with 6+ years of experience, or PhD with 2+ years of experience.
• Applied research or consulting experience related to pharmaceutical research, bioinformatics, biomarkers, target identification, or subgroup identification.
• Experience with pharmaceutical, clinical trial, and/or healthcare statistics.
• Ability to integrate high-dimensional data from multiple sources and apply multiple-testing control, cross-validation, and random-resampling methods.
• Strong technical, written, oral communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in the hybrid North Chicago, Illinois location.
