Active Directory Services / Entra Engineer (Hybrid) (IAM)

Salary: $84,500–$162,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory solutions, including conditional access, MFA, SSO, and Zero Trust controls.
• Configure custom roles and RBAC across hybrid and multi-cloud identity environments.
• Develop PowerShell automation for identity management and operational efficiency.
• Integrate enterprise applications and cloud platforms with directory and authentication services.
• Troubleshoot complex Entra ID and Active Directory authentication and authorization issues.
• Administer certificate lifecycle management and authentication infrastructure, including AD CS, SCEP/NDES, SpecOps, and LastPass.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience or a master's degree with 4 years of experience.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD and Active Directory, including conditional access, MFA, SSO, and Entra ID Connect.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for identity-system automation and administration.
• Experience with Active Directory Certificate Services and authentication infrastructure.
• Knowledge of identity-platform security, hybrid directory environments, threat modeling, and control design.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Microsoft identity or Azure architecture certifications.
• Experience supporting environments with 10,000+ users, preferably up to 80,000+ users.
• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud hybrid identity solutions.
• Knowledge of NIST or ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
• Experience with PKI, group policies, provisioning, directory synchronization, and SCEP/NDES.
