What you will do

• Develop, deliver, and review evidence-based Behaviour Support Plans.
• Create meaningful goals and practical strategies using a Positive Behaviour Support framework.
• Work toward reducing and eliminating restrictive practices.
• Build the skills and confidence of families, carers, friends, and other support-network members.
• Advocate for participants and help ensure their voices are heard.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary allied health team.

Requirements

• Degree qualification in an allied health discipline such as Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Social Work.
• Experience developing, implementing, and reviewing Behaviour Support Plans.
• Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist status as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner.
• Genuine interest in working within the disability sector.
