Manager, Advanced Analytics (Predictive Modeling)

Location: Upstream Building AR Bentonville Home Office, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States. Additional salary locations include Bellevue, Washington, and San Bruno, California.

Annual salary: $80,000–$155,000 in Bentonville; $96,000–$186,000 in Bellevue; $104,000–$202,000 in San Bruno. Additional annual or quarterly performance bonuses may apply, along with stock for certain positions.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team delivering advanced analytics projects.
• Partner with leadership and business stakeholders to define analytics objectives and research plans.
• Develop and implement data models, algorithms, predictive models, and analytical prototypes.
• Manage end-to-end project workstreams, including risk mitigation and solution validation.
• Deliver consultative analytics solutions and actionable insights for strategic business decisions.
• Oversee data analysis strategies and support continuous operational improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field plus 2 years of data analytics experience, or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in advanced analytics, predictive modeling, data-driven decision-making, data models, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Tableau.
• Experience leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience managing projects end-to-end and collaborating with leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
• Onsite role based at a Walmart home office in the United States.

Nice to have

• Certificate in business analytics, data mining, or statistical analysis.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Statistics.
