Supervisor, Pharmacy Technician (Non-Clinical)

Location: Fully onsite in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; candidates must reside locally or be willing to relocate to the United States. Monday–Friday, with shift availability between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. EST.

What you will do

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and related pharmacy operations across onsite and virtual teams.
• Manage the end-to-end prescription journey, monitor queue volumes, reallocate work, and support production during high-volume periods.
• Perform quality checks, maintain compliance with established processes, and resolve workflow issues with leadership support.
• Set performance expectations, conduct one-to-one meetings, coach employees, and support hiring, onboarding, training, and corrective actions.
• Review productivity, service-level, and quality metrics to guide coaching, prioritization, and escalation decisions.
• Support the rollout of new technologies, systems, operational processes, and policy changes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of management or supervisory experience in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment with KPI and service-level accountability.
• At least 5 years of individual-contributor experience in retail or specialty pharmacy, healthcare, PBM, insurance, pharmacy or medical claims, revenue cycle, claims adjustment, or benefits coordination.
• High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business administration, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience coaching employee performance and partnering with HR on employee-relations issues.
• Strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, technical aptitude, independence, and adaptability to changing processes and workloads.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SIG codes, prescription terminology, pharmacy workflows, and pharmacy benefits processing.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and compliance.
• Experience analyzing performance metrics and preparing operational reports.
