Trade Desk Associate (AI)

Location: London, United Kingdom; mostly on-site. The role supports US markets during the European day and includes third-shift coverage, work on several UK public holidays, and time off in lieu.

What you will do

• Provide first-level support for trading, market data, technology, and participant issues during the Global Trading Hours session.
• Handle inbound calls and email traffic while proactively monitoring trading, reporting, and market data systems.
• Support live production operations, trade support, oversight, client onboarding, platform access, and service provisioning.
• Perform certification testing, logical port creation and modification, and default-setting updates.
• Coordinate incident management across teams, conduct post-incident reviews, and track corrective actions to completion.
• Test system and platform changes before deployment, including weekend and industry-wide testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, customer service, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in developing securities-market expertise and proficiency with Cboe technology.
• Ability to verify AI-generated outputs before using them with customers or in production systems.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure as part of an international team and cover the specified US-market shift.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI assistants to remove repetitive work.
• Version control and Git workflow experience for operational scripts and tooling.
• Experience supporting production trading and market data systems, with familiarity with FIX and low-latency trading systems.
• Networking and debugging skills with tools such as telnet, ping, traceroute, netstat, and Wireshark.
• Linux/UNIX, SQL, Python, data analytics, Sigma, or Snowflake skills.
