Application Technical Support Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Act as the primary technical contact for Customer Success and bridge communication with Engineering.
• Debug and replicate customer-reported issues, investigate root causes, and document fixes and workarounds.
• Write SQL queries to retrieve data and build reports for internal and customer use.
• Build and maintain internal tools in Retool and support integrations with Vitally, Zapier, and Sentry.
• Improve testing processes, manage multiple investigations, and prioritize work effectively.
• Explore and embed AI tools into support workflows and share opportunities for automation.

Requirements

• At least two years of professional experience in technical support, application support, or a comparable hybrid technical role.
• Confident SQL skills, including writing and interpreting queries independently.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through ambiguity.
• Clear communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
• Comfort working alongside AI tools and curiosity about practical technology improvements.

Nice to have

• PostgreSQL experience.
• Experience with Retool or similar low-code internal tooling platforms.
• Experience with Vitally, Zapier, Sentry, or comparable integration and monitoring tools.
• Python scripting or automation experience.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
