Accountant

Location: Support Services Headquarters Building; onsite role

hirify.global provides corporate accounting support for Seminole Hard Rock entities.

What you will do

• Support month-end and year-end close for corporate entities.
• Upload recurring, accrual, and other adjusting journal entries to the General Ledger.
• Reconcile daily corporate bank activity and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including cash.
• Assist with inter-company monthly billing and resolve account discrepancies through cross-department communication.
• Support internal and external auditors and maintain departmental checklists and procedures.
• Apply finance policies, U.S. GAAP, FASB guidance, and internal control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least three years of accounting experience.
• Experience with journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong Excel knowledge and familiarity with major accounting software packages.
• Knowledge of and ability to apply U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong time management, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and detail-oriented skills.
• Strong communication and listening skills, including the ability to explain complex ideas in professional language.
