Special Loans Analyst - HELOC

Location: Remote within the United States; associated with Fort Mill, South Carolina

Salary: $23.37–$31.15 per hour

What you will do

• Support operational activities for variable-rate and fixed-rate HELOC servicing.
• Review HELOC draw requests, process approved draws, and set up and maintain draw segments.
• Validate billing details, payment amounts, balances, due dates, and interest calculations.
• Research account activity, transaction histories, exception reports, and servicing discrepancies.
• Support customer and phone escalations by researching accounts and providing accurate information.
• Maintain procedures and documentation, monitor workflows, and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of mortgage servicing and HELOC products, including draws, billing, payment calculations, and interest calculations.
• Ability to identify discrepancies in balances, transactions, billing, and interest calculations.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• 1–3 years of experience; 2+ years of mortgage loan servicing experience is preferred.
• Ability to work remotely within the United States.

Nice to have

• Previous HELOC servicing experience, especially with draws, billing, interest calculations, or loan maintenance.
