Associate, Project Accounting

What you will do

• Perform hands-on job cost accounting for multiple construction projects.
• Process subcontractor accounts payable and client invoices.
• Support project budgeting and maintain detailed knowledge of project costs.
• Work with project management to provide accounting direction and support.
• Communicate and enforce project accounting policies and procedures.
• Monitor projects for financial and operational risks and escalate issues when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2–5 years of construction or project-related accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exposure to ERP or comparable business software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, prioritize, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, disciplined, self-motivated, and able to balance speed with quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with JD Edwards.
