Finance Manager (KZ & UZ)

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan; based at the Kazakhstan office 3 days per week

What you will do

• Manage accounting and financial activities across Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
• Prepare monthly and annual management reports, statutory accounts, financial forecasts, and contract profitability analysis.
• Manage cash flow and treasury through regular forecasting.
• Lead budgeting, planning, forecasting, audit, tax, and regulatory reporting processes.
• Supervise and develop the Finance Department, including one Management Accountant.
• Implement corporate governance, risk management, internal controls, and improvements to accounting and reporting systems.

Requirements

• Professional finance qualification or equivalent, with at least 10 years of relevant experience; audit experience is preferred.
• Experience producing accurate and timely management reports and completing sales tax and regulatory returns.
• Experience working across multiple territories in a fast-moving global business.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Ability to manage, motivate, and develop a small finance team.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and lead planning and performance improvement.
