Systems Development Engineer II (Networking)

What you will do

• Write code for demanding, cross-functional networking projects.
• Design, deploy, and operate large-scale network infrastructure and services.
• Build automation for creating and decommissioning network infrastructure.
• Create new tools and improve existing tools for network operators.
• Research and benchmark hirify.global technologies against industry systems.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to the technical development of the engineering community.

Requirements

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience with Linux or Unix.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline build processes.
• Programming experience in at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
• Experience designing or architecting reliable and scalable systems.
• Expert-level networking knowledge and experience leading large projects.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience with load balancers, switches, and routers.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
