Associate Scientist (Pharmaceutical Quality Control)

What you will do

• Perform routine chemical testing for raw materials, in-process materials, stability samples, and finished products.
• Use FTIR, TLC, PM, and UV-Vis methods to support Quality Control objectives.
• Document testing and maintain project records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
• Update and route SOPs, MOAs, and specifications through Documentum as delegated.
• Perform peer review of data and ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, and facility audit requirements.
• Communicate work-related issues and results clearly while managing priorities and following safety procedures.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related physical science.
• Typically 0–2 years of related pharmaceutical-industry experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to adapt to changing projects and priorities.
• Effective spoken and written English is required for understanding policies, procedures, training materials, and workplace communications.

Nice to have

• Background in HPLC and other analytical techniques, including GC, AA, UV, TLC, and wet chemistry.
