What you will do
- Coordinate laboratory workflow and monitor daily performance to meet turnaround-time targets.
- Perform routine and non-routine laboratory work according to applicable technical procedures.
- Conduct performance reviews, interview applicants, maintain training records, and support succession planning.
- Coach, train, and develop employees while implementing operational improvements.
- Troubleshoot instrumental and method issues and independently lead investigations.
- Establish root causes, develop robust CAPA, and support LEAN initiatives and employment-regulation compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline.
- At least four years of laboratory experience.
- Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
- Ability to work the Monday–Thursday, 2pm–12am schedule and commute to Portage, Michigan.
