Laboratory Technician - Organic Prep - 3rd Shift, M-F

Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite, 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday. Training is from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, for approximately four weeks.

Salary: USD 17.75+ per hour, plus a 10% shift differential

What you will do

• Perform routine laboratory cleaning, housekeeping, glassware washing, and equipment inventory.
• Prepare and extract samples, reagents, and spikes using approved scientific methods.
• Dispose of chemical waste and handle chemicals, glassware, and specialized laboratory equipment safely.
• Enter data accurately into LIMS and maintain current training documentation.
• Complete assigned QC samples, including MDL, LOD/LOQ, and PT work.
• Support other laboratory activities and prepare equipment for shipping when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work with chemicals, laboratory glassware, and specialized equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work independently, communicate clearly, and meet established deadlines.

• Previous laboratory experience.
