Senior Acquisition Program Management Professional (Defense)

hirify.global provides acquisition and program management support to Air Force Life Cycle Management Center programs involving air armament and conventional munitions systems.

What you will do

• Provide acquisition program management support across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle.
• Advise Government Program Managers on program execution, acquisition strategy, and risk management.
• Develop, review, and coordinate acquisition strategies, systems engineering plans, test and evaluation plans, sustainment plans, statements of work, and related documentation.
• Monitor cost, schedule, and performance using metrics and Earned Value Management analysis.
• Lead or support Integrated Product Teams, milestone reviews, technical reviews, source selection activities, and contract modifications.
• Coordinate engineering, logistics, test, financial, and international armaments stakeholders and prepare briefings for senior leadership.

Requirements

• Onsite support at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, United States.
• Bachelor’s degree with 25 years of relevant experience or a master’s degree with 15 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant program management experience, preferably in DoD acquisition or another regulated environment.
• Degree program and professional experience must be directly relevant to Information Systems and Network Administration.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with Top Secret access is required.
• Ability to travel approximately 5%.

Nice to have

• PMP certification and DAWIA Level II or III in Program Management, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience with AFLCMC, SAF/AQ, Air Force acquisition organizations, armament systems, or Foreign Military Sales programs.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle processes, DoDI 5000 series, EVM, risk mitigation, JCIDS, and acquisition documentation.
• Familiarity with MS Project, Primavera, and technical review processes.
