Warehouse Technician - 2nd Shift

Location: New Berlin, Wisconsin, United States; onsite at 16250 W. Woods Edge Road

Salary: $17.00 per hour plus a $3.00 per hour second-shift premium

What you will do

• Pick customer orders accurately using a smartphone-like device and motorized transport.
• Receive inbound shipments and audit and pack outbound orders as needed.
• Complete daily 5S warehouse organization and cleaning tasks.
• Follow safety procedures, standard work instructions, and defined productivity standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and suggest improvements to safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and accurate counting and basic addition and multiplication skills.
• Ability to match visual information on a device with product labels and use the device continuously during the shift.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers and work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to repeatedly lift more than 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to remain on foot throughout an 8–10-hour shift, with occasional bending and twisting.
• Ability to safely operate motorized equipment, follow verbal and written instructions, and work voluntary or mandatory overtime as needed.
