2027 Guardian Summer Intern, Corporate Finance & Risk - Agency Accounting

Location: New York, NY, United States. Full-time, 10-week summer internship from May 27, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Housing is not provided.

Salary: $20.00–$35.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Assist with monthly close activities and account reconciliations.
• Support agency and field-related accounting processes and reporting.
• Test and document accounting controls and business processes.
• Analyze data, facts, and other information while asking clarifying questions.
• Learn from leaders, mentors, and colleagues across the Finance and Risk organization.

Requirements

• Current junior enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program in Accounting and/or Finance, with an expected graduation date of May 2028.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools or Copilot.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be available for the full internship program dates; housing is not provided.
